The eldest son of Oodoshi and older brother of Mitoshi. After his fathers death he sides with Tsunomi and supports the idea of Iwarehiko becoming Mitoshis husband. Pragmatic and selfserving he tends to prioritize his own survival. However when Tsunomi and Mitoshi have a child he begins to see Tsunomi as a threat. Fearing his growing influence he plots to eliminate him. Based on the mythological figure Umashimaji no Mikoto.
