The son of William Adams known in Japan as Miura Anjin Mika Angelo is a government spy trained in the Koga ninja arts. His real name is Miura Anjiro. While on a secret mission to escort Shiro to Europe he is captured by the Dutch and brought to Taiwan as a prisoner. There he becomes entangled in the fierce struggle between the Spanish and Dutch for control of the island and ends up fighting alongside Iori and the others on the Spanish side.
