Hanbiraki-san

This one-shot story was published in the February 2015 issue of Monthly Shonen Champion, "New Year's Gag Festa 2015." It is Norio-sensei's first new one-shot story in nine years.

Kobayashi Chihiro, a fifth-grader, notices that Hanzawa-san opens her eyes more when she isn't concentrating. Chihiro starts a boring conversation to make this happen in front of their classmates, but Hanzawa-san stays sleepy, meaning she's still focused. When Chihiro realizes why, she takes action accordingly.
