English
In the first part its final stretch is an escalating conflict between two powers whose motive of struggle is the world in this case the Academy. The second part repeats the scheme again with the difference that the story doesnt take place in the school its scope now corresponds to literally the world.
The foundation from the previous part is Tsukunes utopian dream of reconciling the Youkai world with the human one but to be clear its only the excuse for what is to happen itsnt the approach. Nor does it imply that there arent small glimpses of such an example is the story at the beginning. Its to indicate that in the end it wont be the thematic center but the basis for that expansion of the world in a more literal way. Entering into areas completely strange to the school or in the knowledge of other organizations outside the Academy thats that society that had been informed and intuited but remained on the sidelines.
The dark lords the true power of Fairy Tail the Chinese families or the ancient and transcendental vampires. Ideas from the universe that Ikeda may have written but had not the opportunity to use them to his hearts content. In the second part he allows himself to exhibit all that mythology the problem is that he had to link it with a narrative.

No it is not flawed in fact Tsukunes path to becoming that common strong protagonist of the Harem especially the fantasy side is more than deserved. It happens in steps requires willpower and overcomes his weaknesses with the help of others. It happens in a structured sequence avoiding the sudden rise in level and if that wasnt enough despite also being dense with his feelings towards the end he reaches a firm resolution. I cant fault it.
Nor to Moka who was the real absolute center of the plot corresponding to the aspects of who she is what she wants to become and what she expects of herself as well as the process of understanding how she sees Tsuken as an ally and partner a joint effort to reach understanding and stability. I cant fault her.
Also the secondary characters have their own paths and stories even several of them end up paired with each other even those who seemed to be part of the harem each one had a lesson and teaching. It may raise more than one eyebrow at the ending decided for several still I appreciate that effort for giving them that one path correspondence. I cant fault it.

What I can criticize is the way things were presented I am not Ikeda so obviously I dont know how much was or was not planned so I can only from my position as a reader go back to my opinion of the first season that is it was not thought out. The antagonists appear as the plot requires them standing out for the level of threat they represent the typical case of an inconceivable force that only appears so far. Constituting a simple narrative scheme a journey to defeat bosses in order to reach the final command.
And that leads to another drawback despite building that last skirmish in luxurious narrative details its ending owes us. The closing is not sufficiently rounded to what had been presented until then even though I add extra pages but the solution should have been a complete chapter.
It can be overlooked the rhythm is good the events that happen even if sudden are interesting and the drawing is absolutely great an incredible improvement compared to the first part. In its more Shonen moments it is an absolute outburst of energy detail and power each action carries everything it should turning entire chapters into spectacles too bad that its forte isnt the character design in the final stages. In general absolute applause to the evolution it had at the artistic level.
It is remarkable Ikedas enjoyment in showing the world he had to offer even if he had to make narrative concessions to achieve it. Hence he may not pass the rigorous examination on the logic and sequentiality of the events but he would be wrong about what we should be seeing because his intention is precisely to focus on the paths and characters we already knew in a context of greater scale and epicness and in that sense he hit the bulls eye.
