This is the best seiyuu show yet but I totally understand why nobody seems to be interested it looks cheap the title sounds boring the premise of the show described in the summary doesnt seem to lead anywhere and I only watched it because I was emotionally really upset by a certain episode of Gundam GQuuuuuux. Just as things are starting to look good with their own web radio show is being rolled out turmoil strikes as their real world identities have been leaked online. Yumiko realizes amongst the chaos that she is not nearly as talented as her rival meanwhile Chika is deeply troubled by a scandal and internet bullying. This is the story of how these two young professionals overcome these challenges to their career personal life and relationship with each other in pursuit of a career of their dreams. 720https://i.ur.com/d6PjQcj.jpeg The show for some reason really want to pretend it has this gimmick that the two leads hate each other they dont in fact Im upset this isnt Yuri show it really should be a Yuri show I would die for that. Theyre rivalfriends really and that makes it very interesting when one of them has a problem should the other help or should they not help? As a friend probably yes as a rival probably no as a college randomly offering help has unwanted implications. Many seiyuu shows have this fantasy rainbow unicorn land things going on where where everyone is super nice super helpful super ideal. This show probably goes the furthest other than Oshi no Ko and Perfect Blue in having some actually bad actors that add some genuine distress to the characters. 520https://i.ur.com/8nQuEoT.jpeg Being a seiyuu show it of course has voice acting scenes and theyre the best yet. Here in the final arc of the story when theyre acting for this showwithinshow we actually just get the previs frames which is realistic but other seiyuu shows often have at least some of these scenes be imaginary completed shots. The choice here to stick with previs with no music no sound effect is straight forward but genius because it super highlights the voice acting and voice acting alone. This showwithinshow not only is quite long it also is an exciting mech battle sequence that parallel what happens in the 1st level show reflecting what the characters might be thinking at this point in the story. The voice work by the reallife actors are also amazing for this part and I really felt the growth in acting skill for the 1st level show characters which is legitimately hard because again theres no music no sound effect no animation. 320https://i.ur.com/GE5xd7s.png Bonus point for final battle Very much enjoyed the show hope it gets more seasons but that seems unlikely.
