I never seen an iyashikei anime like this before. Cute girls doing cute things while cooking? A perfect combination for female protagonist lovers like me. I never expected this anime to be one of the best one of this season. Really worth to watch if you enjoy CGDCT Iyashikei Club and Foods Might be not popular as other spring anime but still a hidden gem https://images2.box.com/41/6c/KgU1RyX9o.png Animation The animation is well done. The characters have the moe type design despite being an university girls. That moe artstyle really goes well with the things the girls are doing. The animation itself is good too. Like whenever Mako and Kurea made a food they looks SOOOO good For example at the episode when all of them went to Makos grandma house as usual last scene of that episode was Mako was making food alongside with Kurea. Each step by step that showed in that episode made it feel like I am watching a real life cooking show. The foods are soo well done in this anime. Due to that it 100 makes you hungry even if you ate something before. The background animation is pretty solid too. Like at episode 12 when the girls went to the shrine the characters at the background the landscape and other objects looked pretty amazing. Another example is when the girls went to the beach you can see the waves sea and buildings are perfectly done. Its just shocking to see a CGDCT Iyashikei anime have one of the best animation Ive ever seen. My Score 10/10 https://images2.box.com/a9/b0/I7kg2ebuo.png Story The story itself are amazing. Like it shows Mako who is shy and never had friends before attending all girls university alone. Mako herself showed to love food and cooking since she is alone it became her hobby and skill. Though suddenly she met one of her childhood friend named Shinon at school alongside with Shinons friend named Tsutsuji and Kurea. This is where her lonely life started to shine with the help of others. Later she was invited to the Food Research Club though first it was a fake circle later it became an actual Club with the help of Kurea and Mako. As they started their journey Nana joined them and their journey became even more fun to watch despite it was already fun. As the story progress we saw the girls going out somewhere trying out foods and even making the food by themselves. We even got few reunions as well in this anime too. Dont forget that all the girls are protagonist of this story but Mako is the main POV of this story as it shows she getting new friends and get to spend time with them while cooking. A pretty good story if you just want to enjoy it while resting or eating food. Aoyama Yoshino did a great job as Shinon. Aside from Shinon I like other characters and find them unique too. Like how Mako and Nana is too shy meanwhile Kurea being the onee san of that group and Tsutsuji being sheep. Their different personality and appearance made this anime unique with their characters. For example when Shinon drove the car into the freeway without realizing Kurea being the matured one like helping the girls and even gets angry whenever Shino and Tsutsuji did something wrong Nana being Nana The Rock during the entire anime and Mako despite being not shy as Nana there is a lot of times we finds her cute. Especially whenever she see a food with that hawk eyes. I really enjoyed each of them and each character VA did a great job as the characters as well. I really like the characters and hoping to see more like this in any future iyashikei anime.
