Sugimura Kaoru and Chigusa Nana are neighbors and childhood friends. They used to be close but starting in middle school Nana pulled ahead both academically and physically. Now in high school Nana always places near the top of her class in grades does well on the Track team and is on the Student Council. She is tall beautiful and admired by most of the school. Kaoru on the other hand is short and ugly is in the worst class of the grade and spends most of his time watching and talking about porn with his friends. While he is an underachiever and has earned the nickname Creepymura. There is one area he is very well versed in though SM play. One day Kaorus mom decides to her son needs to focus on his studies for an upcoming test. So she takes some of his stuff and gives it to their neighbor Nana for safekeeping so that he will not be distracted. Nana ends up peeking in the bag and finds a bondage outfit. Her curiosity gets the best of her and she tries on the outfit. It fits her perfectly. However she accidentally locks the belt and is now stuck in this embarrassing outfit. With little other choice she only has one choice and that is to turn to Kaoru to get her out of this sexy gear. Before helping her remove the outfit he teases her a bit to have a bit of fun with the situation. Afterwards Nana finds herself more relaxed and focused. She even ends up placing first on a mock exam. So about a week later she ends up coming back to Kaoru and asks for more. This begins their new thing that they call breathers. The story unfolds in quite a nice manner. Slowly ramping up as they get more comfortable in this new relationship. It is focused on a realistic portrayal of bondage practices not some fantasy dream of someones perverted desires. I never once felt that a course of action was impossible. Having circumstances like this probably would not happen but the actual activities are something that real people could pull off. You also get a real feel for the characters. You will not find any exaggerated personalities or gag characters. Everyone feels like they could be a real person. Especially with Nana and Kaoru. You are shown a lot of their inner selves as well as the outer. This in my opinion really helps flesh them out and help make them more believable. You get to see them struggling with their insecurities and doubts and this really helps flesh them out. The art is not the greatest but is by no means bad either. Amazumesensei does a great job presenting contrasts between the different environments and has good amount detail in them. My biggest complaint is that sometimes the shading is a bit darker than it really needs to be. The same effect could have been reached with lighter shades in many cases. Saving some of the darker shading for when it would have greater significance. When it comes to the actual bondage the level of detail is great. Overall this was a very enjoyable read. If you have any interest in BDSM give this a read. It gives a good portrayal of the true spirit of BDSM. Meaning it is more than just tying someone up and assaulting them. There are emotional and mental aspects involved. Alternately if you like stories where someone is pushed to their limits this could also be a good read for you. Additional Notes It should be said that things escalate much faster than a real BDSM experience would normally. First Kaoru gets some help to be able to bring in some more advanced stuff faster and easier than reality for someone on a budget. Second he moves on to some practices that should be saved till greater levels of trust are established. Third I am not certain if this is normal in Eastern BDSM but in West there are many established practices that should be followed that are not present here. Most notably being the use of Safe Words or Signals. Take the time and effort to learn proper practices before trying to do serious bondage. This is best for both you and your partner.
