I consider myself to be a well rounded weeb. Theres very few genres and subgenres I will avoid entirely. Even though Im a straight man I tell myself theres a BL out there Id like havent found it though Some notes on scoring: I rate on 10 point scale with decimals and consider every decimal point to confer some meaning. I try not to overstuff my 10s only allowing myself to give a single 10 for every 100 completed shows. 10 does not mean perfect. 5 means I was very much on the fence about even wanting to finish the show but anything above a 5 is technically a positive score. A show dropped at episode 1 with a score of 4 means I tried it in the deluge of new anime every season and did not think much of it for better or worse. I make an attempt to try everything that releases normally. I do not believe in the three episode rule. I think anime like everything else should compel the audience to be enthusiastic about it not give it a chance to warm up. That doesnt mean I dont take recommendations to retry dropped shows.
