hi im prism. I watch anime every now and then when I feel like it and Ill usually update this thing when I do. I really like to write my thoughts on shows using the notes feature and the comments on recent activity though Ill admit some thoughts are less elaborate than others. When it comes to the notes Ive been doing this for a really long time and most of them are carried over from the tags in my old MyAnimeList profile. Any notes with a on it are from when I was still a teenager and should not necessarily be held up as something I still believe. Im working on updating them but its really boring and I never get to it. I dont bother with any objective analysis that tries to score things using a rule of averages based on music/characters/story/etc. Instead scores are assigned based entirely on how Im feeling at the moment I give them so they are very subjective and may vary from time to time. In these last few years Ive worked on becoming a bit more positive and as a result my scores dont usually get much lower than a 6 anymore. As for what kind of shows I like thats complicated. Theres a certain something I value in any piece of media which I cant call anything other than A sparkle. My favorite works are those that make me feel that sparkle but I cannot give a true definition as to what makes the sparkle appear.
